I went through the same thing when I moved into my current home. The region became a haven for ants and earwigs. I have a window screen and the old man with a shovel in his hand into the mud and stones on the screen, filtered to throw dust and rocks poured into a large bucket to remove. So I have not lost any dirt. It took a few days to clean, but every year) since (10 years, I found more stones down. Now that I planted in the garden, I use a spaghetti strainer to dig.

Buy a piece of 1 / 2 hardware cloth for a single screen with a 2x4 and 1x2s. It does not need big, not more than 2 "x2" (unless you are) a big flower garden. You can only shovel full of dirt to rock to remove the larger stones. Anything small enough to fit through the holes in 1 / 2 inches will be OK to let

when you say, my white stones rocks, if they can stay where they are and as weeding, and if you ugly or replant. If then they shovel into a wheelbarrow and use it as a basis for beds or pots, etc.

ordinary garden soil rake. Rake in a pile, put it in a bucket or a wheelbarrow and dispose. Chances are, you will find in the next few years ....

Reuse in a garden path or river bed to dry, if you can.

Pick-up and carry them out. If you are ultra-lazy and rocks are not too small, you can use a colander or a spoon with holes.

Buying a little mystery and the mystery of the stones, which seems
the least expensive

It does not hurt if all the plants remain on the rocks, where they are.
